Owners Nick Skover and Mark Slater are local to Charleston, SC and big supporters of the local James Island, SC community where Paisano’s Pizza Grill is located.  The pizzeria helps sponsor local schools and churches in the area.  They are also greatly affiliated with the Smalls Institute for Music and Youth Leadership.

The Smalls Institute for Music and Youth Leadership focuses on increasing the awareness for the arts and provide music lessons for a wide variety of instruments including piano, percussions and bass guitar.  The organization also promotes youth leadership through outreach programs and services.
